Blogmas Day 22! Organization!

Hey everyone!

So today may not be Christmas related....unless you know someone who would appreciate some help organizing things!

I'm mostly talking about makeup and nail polish.

I was looking around on Pinterest today for some ideas on storing my makeup and nail polishes.

I don't currently have enough makeup to worry too much, yet. Haha But my cyber Monday splurge on 42 E.L.F. nail polishes caused me to start looking for a better way to store and organize them!

I came across a couple cute ideas and was trying to think of ways to combine the two!

The first idea was a shelving unit that could hold things other than nail polish. Now, I wanted something that I could close and hide them, so I don't have to see them all the time, so that bothered me a little.

The second idea was to make a tiered shelf to put them on, so I could have them behind each other, but I could still see them.

My final idea/solution was probably to create something myself. Ideally, I would love a shelving unit that has cute shutter doors on it and I can make little tiered shelves to put on those shelves!

I think it would be super cute and way efficient!

Blogmas Day 20! Pet Peeves!

Hello!

This is seriously not Christmas related...but necessary!

Lately, in our household, there has been a LOT of lying.

(HUGE PET PEEVE! I HATE LIARS!)

So yeah... Needless to say I've been extremely stressed out over this. I cannot stand when people blatantly lie to your face. Especially when you watch someone lie to their parents...and usually get away with it. Drives me insane!

Rant!!!!

I wish people would just quit lying. It doesn't get you anywhere in life! People will figure you out and nobody will like you or trust you anymore.

Fun stuff! I wanna be that person! NOT!

Ugh... Anyways...

The parents are out of town finishing Christmas shopping and I am in charge of getting the siblings to and from school tomorrow. Its the last day before winter break.

Also...people need to calm down about the whole world ending thing... There are children in juvy because they're making stupid threats to schools. Honestly... If the world were to end, what good would those threats do you? And if you actually did shoot people, what good would that do you? And if you're stupid enough to do any of that and the world doesn't end, what now?! You're in jail! Have a nice life..

Wow.. Lots of ranting today. Haha! Oh well!

I hope everyone is being safe and still enjoying the Christmas season! Five more days!

Blogmas Day 19! Christmas Present Stress!

Hi everyone!

I don't really have anything fun for you guys today. Sorry!

I was rushing around to Michael's and Joann's today trying to find what I need for a couple presents I'm making.

Long story short...I ended up with a massive headache. Both from stressing out and from driving in the dark.

(I'm supposed to wear glasses for night driving because I have astigmatisms, which cause all the lights to star out and burn my eyes.)

Sorry again for the less than exciting blog post tonight!

I hit 13 subscribers on YouTube today! Yay! My favorite number! Really wish making videos was easier... I need a computer!

Anyways... Remember, even though it can get stressful, enjoy the magic of this time of year!

I really do love Bunny's tree! Kinda want one of those just for Halloween though.

Downer Days and Cupcakes

Hey everyone!
Today is slightly a downer day.
I'm still mostly optimistic about my future as a business owner and what not...
I'm just feelin a little sad cause I want people to love what I do and I have yet to get a very positive response to any of it.

I work very hard on my Etsy shop, I LOVE making my YouTube videos that hardly anyone watches and nobody really reads my blog. I basically talk to myself on here and on YouTube.
I would love to gain some loyal subscribers on there and some followers on here or twitter or instagram. I love sharing! Just haven't caught anyone's eye yet... :(

I need some support! I will be your best friend ever if you support any of my ventures!

Anyways...

I made cupcakes for our church Christmas decorating/ soup-bread-dessert contest we had tonight.
They were/are still amazing!! Looove them!
Can't go wrong with super soft chocolate cupcakes and cream cheese frosting, all from scratch! Mmm! <3

E.L.F. hasn't shipped my ginormous order yet! :(
I wanna make my haul videooo!
And my nails are sad. They want new fun colors.

The Little Things!

Hey everybody!

So..last night I got a message from someone who I have not talked to in probably about a month. I was a little shocked.. Not gonna lie! Haha
This person and I weren't on the best of terms the last time we spoke... It made me sad.
Also, I haven't actually seen this person in about 11 months! That's a long time!
They don't know it yet....but I actually am excited to hear from them. Just not ready to show it yet. :]



Anyways!

Is anyone else frustrated beyond belief, right now?!
Purses..jewelry..painting....?? Why does everything have to get me down? I would like for my creativity to bust out already!!!!
Everything I make is so underwhelming.... :(
I need some serious soul-inspiration!

Power Outage!

My wifi hates me!
I just posted this, but it didn't upload or save it!
Awesome... Was kinda long...

Anyways!
Our power was out for a couple hours due to a wind storm!
We lit tons of candles and played some games.
Once the power came back on, Khloie (my dog) and I restarted our movie, Chicken Little!

Sorry for the slightly randomness of this post. Pretty much the most exciting thing that happened today.

Oh! My grandpa's twin is back to stay with him! I love having both of them around!


A little sadness.... I've been feeling pretty down about my products...
I'm new to sewing and making jewelry, so I feel like my stuff isn't quality enough for people to want to buy... Kind of depressing...

But I've been trying to dig deep inside and figure out what my calling is. I love so many art related subjects that its difficult for me to pick just one. But I did come up with a couple.
I know that painting relaxes me.
And I'm actually pretty good at it.
So I'm exploring ideas of paintings that I could possibly sell.
So there's that.
I love music.
Singing it.
Playing it on instruments.
I've been saving for a guitar and learning how to play them.
So there's a second.
I'm not called the crossover artist for nothing! Haha

My ultimate goal has always been to be a musician.
I've been feeling, lately, like that requires being able to play a guitar. Not sure why.
I know I'm a pretty decent singer. Learned that in choirs in high school.
I would love to be able to write my own songs. I've been working on lyrics very slowly.

But in the mean time, I believe I'm good enough at painting to make some money to hopefully support myself and buy equipment.
That is also why I started a YouTube channel.
Funds.
The economy is rough.
Every little bit helps.
